Summary

MaLT is a standardised assessment – for groups and individuals – designed to yield diagnostic information which will directly support individual and whole-class teaching.

Designed to highlight particular errors and misunderstandings which are diagnostic of key learning needs, such as counting errors and misconceptions with decimals.
Encourages learners with lower literacy levels to demonstrate their numeracy skills with oral tests for levels 5 to 7.
Results can be used to inform future teaching and learning.
Easily record and monitor progress year-on-year with a single scorer/profiler CD-ROM.
Used for screening, monitoring and tracking progress, as well as for individual diagnostic profiling.
